Four lessons to help you feel more confident using French/German on your holiday. Tailored to you and your current level, sessions are practical and could cover the following; 

• Arriving, greetings, directions and getting around

• Cafés, restaurants, shops and markets

• Hotels, problems, emergencies and asking for help

• Real conversation practice, including scenarios relevant to your holiday​

The course includes a pre-travel workbook with useful phrases including essentials for emergencies, practical exercises and pronunciation guides.

Our Back to French and Back to German courses are designed for adults who want to rediscover a language and start speaking with confidence again. We'll start with an assessment to discover what you already know and fill in the gaps with lessons tailored to your level, interests and goals. Classes include a grammar refresh, every day vocabulary, listening and pronunciation, and conversational confidence building. 

Refresher sheets, vocab exercises and supporting apps and podcast recommendations are included with this course.

Our Conversation Clubs offer a relaxed, friendly way to practise your French or German with other learners at a similar level. Each session is built around an interesting topic, giving you plenty of opportunity to talk, build your vocabulary and become more comfortable using the language in real conversation. Less textbook, more talking, with expert guidance along the way.

Classes are in small groups of 4-6 people, grouped according to ability and each session has a theme such as travel, food, current affairs, culture, films etc. 

Weekly conversation prompts and vocabulary sheets are included in these sessions.

 

Price:  £90 per person for six consecutive weekly sessions. 

Please note a minimum of four persons is required for conversation classes to run. Bring a friend! ​

The course covers conversations and meetings, emails, presentations,  business travel and relationship building.  Lessons are practical, relevant and designed to help you communicate more confidently at work.

 

This course includes sector specific vocabulary, role play scenarioius and exercises based on work place situations.
